The Booststory Walnut Plant Stand set brings Booststory’s material quality and craftsmanship philosophy to the smallest scale in the range — three nesting side tables or plant display stands that function individually as accent surfaces and collectively as a coordinated display system that introduces layered height variation into a plant collection, window display, or corner styling arrangement. American black walnut is chosen for these stands because its dark, warm color provides the richest possible contrast against the green foliage of houseplants, making the plant collection more visually striking and the stands themselves more visually recessive — allowing the plants to be the primary visual element. Each stand in the set is turned on Booststory’s workshop lathe from a single solid walnut billet — the leg profile, platform edge, and base plate are all generated from a single piece of timber without assembly joins — producing a stand with a refined, sculptural quality that no assembly-based construction method can replicate. The three stands in the set measure 40cm, 55cm, and 70cm in height, with platform diameters of 25cm, 20cm, and 18cm respectively — sized for small to medium houseplants in standard nursery pots from 12cm to 22cm diameter. The base of each stand is a solid walnut disc of 20cm diameter that provides stable support on hard floors without rocking. Each stand is fitted with a recessed rubber ring on the platform surface that grips pot bases without marking them and prevents the pot from sliding or tipping on the stand surface.
