The Booststory Oak Bathroom Vanity Unit brings the warmth and organic quality of solid wood into the bathroom — a space that is almost universally finished in cold hard materials — through an engineered approach to moisture management that allows solid European white oak to perform reliably in the high-humidity bathroom environment without the swelling, warping, or surface deterioration that unprotected timber would quickly develop. The carcase is constructed from solid oak that has been processed through Booststory’s moisture-stabilization protocol: the timber is dried to 6% moisture content — half the equilibrium moisture content of interior timber at ambient conditions — and immediately sealed on all surfaces including internal faces, edges, and the backs of joints, with a two-component waterproof polyurethane sealer that prevents moisture absorption from occurring at any surface that could otherwise be exposed to bathroom humidity. The resulting furniture performs reliably in bathroom environments with standard mechanical ventilation without the risk of dimensional movement that would cause door misalignment, drawer jamming, or structural separation at joints. The unit measures 90cm in width and is fitted with a single undermounted ceramic basin that drops into the recessed top panel — a basin mounting method that eliminates the grout joint around the basin perimeter that in surface-mounted basins becomes a maintenance-intensive collection point for mold and calcium deposits. The internal layout includes one soft-close drawer above the internal plumbing trap and a full-height door cabinet on the right with two adjustable shelves.
