Booststory Oak Shoe Cabinet — Slim Hallway with Tilt-Out Doors

The Booststory Oak Shoe Cabinet solves the hallway shoe storage problem that most furniture fails to address adequately: how to store a meaningful quantity of footwear in the limited floor space available at a home entrance without creating the visual chaos of an open shoe rack or the impracticality of a deep sideboard that requires pulling shoes out from behind other pairs to access those at the back. The tilt-out door mechanism is the defining functional innovation of this design: each of the four door panels tilts outward from a pivot point at the top edge of the door, transforming the door face into an angled ramp that presents the shoes stored on the internal rack at an accessible angle without requiring the door to swing fully open into the hallway walking space. Each tilt-out bay stores two pairs of standard adult shoes — one pair in the front position and one pair in the rear position — with sufficient vertical clearance for boots up to ankle height in the two lower bays where the internal compartment height is 28cm. The cabinet measures only 30cm in depth — half the depth of a conventional sideboard — making it suitable for hallways as narrow as 90cm without obstructing comfortable passage. The carcase is constructed from solid European white oak with straight-grain front door faces selected for their clean, consistent appearance.
