Booststory Oak Coat and Hat Rack — Freestanding Hall Tree with Bench

The Booststory Oak Coat and Hat Rack is a complete hallway entry system in a single freestanding piece — combining the hook storage of a coat rack, the hat and bag storage of a hall shelf, the seating of a bench, and the shoe storage of an under-bench shelf into a coherent, space-efficient furniture assembly that organizes the hallway entirely without requiring four separate pieces of furniture. European white oak is selected for this design for its strength-to-mass ratio — the oak provides the structural performance to support the weight of multiple coats, bags, and wet outer garments on the upper hooks without the central upright deflecting, while maintaining a visual profile fine enough to avoid dominating the hallway. The hall tree stands 190cm tall on a four-legged base that measures 45cm × 30cm at the floor — a footprint small enough to be positioned against a narrow hallway wall without blocking the walking corridor. The upper section features eight double-prong hooks in two rows of four — the lower row at 160cm height for adult coat hanging and the upper row at 185cm height for bags, scarves, and garments that require hanging rather than folding. The hat shelf sits at 190cm height with a depth of 20cm and length of 60cm, accommodating hats, helmets, and folded items. The integrated bench seat at 48cm height is a single solid oak plank of 60cm × 30cm — sufficient for seated shoe changing for one adult.
